Pallet Jacks Available to Rent

Walk-Behind Electric

The workhorse of most operations. Powered lift and drive, operator walks alongside. Ideal for trailer loading, order staging, and moving pallets across a warehouse floor without tying up a forklift.

  • Powered Lift & Drive
  • Tight-Aisle Maneuvering
  • Trailer & Dock Work
  • Minimal Operator Fatigue

Rider Pallet Trucks

Stand-on or end-rider platforms for longer travel distances and higher throughput. When your team is covering real ground per pick, a rider pays for itself in cycle time.

  • Stand-On Platform
  • Long-Run Order Picking
  • Higher Throughput
  • Reduced Walking Time

Manual Pallet Jacks

Hydraulic hand pallet trucks for lighter or occasional use. Simple, no charging, no downtime — the right answer when you need to move a few pallets a day, not a few hundred.

  • No Charging Required
  • Low Maintenance
  • Occasional / Backup Use
  • Lowest Cost Option

What Determines Pallet Jack Rental Cost

We quote rather than publish a rate card, because the honest answer depends on the job. These are the five things that actually move the number.

Manual vs. electric
Electric units carry a higher rate than hydraulic hand trucks — they include the battery, charger, and the maintenance that comes with both.
Rental duration
Daily rates are highest per day. Weekly and monthly terms drop the effective daily cost substantially, and long-term agreements drop it further.
Walk-behind vs. rider
Rider platforms cost more than walk-behinds. They earn it back only if your travel distances are long enough to matter.
Delivery and pickup
Based on distance from our Valencia, PA facility and site access. Quoted up front, never a surprise line item.
Maintenance and charging
Included on our rentals. Longer terms include scheduled service, so the rate you agree to is the cost you carry.

When a Pallet Jack Rental Makes Sense

Yours Went Down

A dead battery or a failed hydraulic unit stops pallet movement cold. Rent a replacement while we repair yours — we service electric pallet jacks in-house.

Seasonal Volume Spike

Q4 or a contract surge means more pallets moving per shift than your current fleet handles. Add units for the season, return them after.

Extra Trailer Doors

More dock doors running at once needs more jacks. Rentals scale your dock with your shipping schedule instead of your capital budget.

Trialing Electric

Moving from manual to electric? Rent first and run it in your actual aisles before committing to a purchase.

New Facility Startup

Opening a space and still working out what the material flow really needs. Rent while you learn the operation.

Short Projects

An inventory count, a plant move, a one-off reconfiguration. Rent for the duration and hand it back.

Pallet Jack Rental FAQ

How much does it cost to rent a pallet jack?

Pallet jack rental rates depend on whether you need a manual hydraulic unit or an electric one, whether it is a walk-behind or a rider, and how long you need it. Daily rentals carry the highest per-day rate; weekly, monthly, and long-term terms bring the effective daily cost down considerably. Delivery is quoted separately based on distance from our Valencia, PA facility. Call 724-898-2000 with your term and application and we will quote it directly — we do not publish blanket rates because the right answer genuinely depends on the job.

Do you rent electric pallet jacks or only manual ones?

Both. Our rental fleet includes electric walk-behind pallet trucks and rider units, plus manual hydraulic hand pallet jacks. Electric units come charged, maintained, and inspected before delivery. Availability changes — call 724-898-2000 for what is on the yard right now.

What is the difference between a walkie and a rider pallet jack?

A walkie — a walk-behind — has the operator walking alongside the unit, controlling it with a tiller handle. A rider has a platform the operator stands on, which makes it much faster over distance. If your team is moving pallets across a large facility or doing long-run order picking, a rider cuts cycle time significantly. For short hauls and dock work, a walkie is usually the better value.

Can you deliver a rental pallet jack to our facility?

Yes. We deliver and pick up rental equipment throughout Western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh, Butler, Cranberry Township, Monroeville, Washington, and the surrounding counties. Delivery cost depends on distance and site access, and it is included in your quote before you commit.

Is maintenance included with a pallet jack rental?

Yes. Rental units are inspected and maintained before delivery, and scheduled maintenance is included on longer-term rentals. If a unit has a problem during your rental, call us and we will address it — we service electric pallet jacks in our own shop and on the road.

Can rental payments go toward buying the pallet jack?

Yes, through our rent-to-own program. Payments accumulate and apply toward the purchase price. It is a common path for operations that want to run a unit in their own aisles before committing capital, and it works the same way on pallet jacks as it does on our forklift rentals.
